Our Process
We strive hard and take great pride in building relationships with couples. We don’t like being sold to, so why should you? Picking a photographer or videographer isn’t difficult, picking the right one is. We don’t work with anyone and neither should you. Building chemistry should be as easy as Sunday morning, not forced. That’s why we take a few extra steps in getting to know you, to make sure we fit!
Initial Contact
When reaching out, we like to break the ice. Usually, our conversation will start off via text or email. A little small talk to introduce ourselves, then a few questions to determine our chemistry. We will ask questions like, “what’s your love story,” or “what are your likes and dislikes about wedding photography/videography.”
We want to share our story with you as well so don’t hesitate to ask.
If the initial contact works out, we’ll move on to the next phase.
Voice or Video call
This is the process where we discuss your vision. Think about your wedding day. From how many guests may attend to the time of year your wedding is taking place. This is the moment where we figure out your desired outcome. Any questions you have for us, we will do our best to answer. If we photographed or videoed your engagement shoot, this is where we reveal that imagery. If we didn’t shoot your engagement session, we will share a viewing gallery of a previous couple.
If you fall in love with the imagery (we know you will) and decide to book your wedding with us, the fun stuff begins!
Constant Communication
About twice a month, we will reach out to see how the wedding planning process is going. Any questions you may have, feel free to ask. This is typically the process where we get to know each other better. The more comfortable we feel around one another, the better the experience will be for your imagery on that special day. Chemistry with a photographer/videographer is key, that’s why a friendly bond is our objective.
One Month until I Do
About a month out, we will send out a questionnaire. The questionnaire will give us a written documentation of every shot we want and you want. No rush on getting it filled out, sometimes things change all the way up until a few days prior to wedding day. All that we ask is that you fill it out and elaborate as much as possible.
It’s Wedding day
There’s nothing left for you to do except embrace this magical day. We’ve gone over every shot that you want and built a friendship for life. Take everything in and enjoy this experience. You won’t even remember some of the shots captured, that’s why you have us there.
Post Wedding Day
This is where all the magic happens! We like to make sure everything is perfect for you before you see the final product. We like to ask for about 6-8 weeks before delivering your imagery. When it is complete, we will set up a date to view your wedding day. Don’t worry, we know you’ll be anxious so we won’t leave you in the dark. We will send over some teaser imagery to leave your heart at ease. After receiving everything from us, we may ask that you leave a testimonial. It’s not required, but it does help relieve anxiety from couples just like you.
